The North Jefferson News will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
The city halls at Gardendale, Fultondale, Morris, Warrior and Brookside are closed Thursday and Friday. Kimberly City Hall is closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Trafford City Hall is closed a half day Wednesday and all day Thursday and Friday.
As for trash pickup, Allied Waste (Gardendale, Kimberly, Trafford, Warrior, Brookside) residential routes for Thursday and Friday will run the next day. For businesses, normal Thursday pickup will be on Wednesday or Friday, and normal Friday pickups will be Friday or Saturday.
For Veolia Environmental Services (Fultondale), Thursday and Friday routes will run the next day. Commercial routes will run on schedule.
