Good Tuesday morning to you…

Weather: Perfect. Today will be sunny and nice with highs in the middle 70s. Lows tonight will go down to the middle 50s. Wednesday will be nice during the day, with scattered thunderstorms at night.

Round Two. President Obama and his opponent, Republican Mitt Romney, will square off again tonight in the second of three debates. This one will feature a town-hall format, with questions from voters identified by the Gallup Organization as undecided. CNN’s Candy Crowley moderates the debate, which will be held at Hofstra University on Long Island.

Mail rate hike. The cost of mailing a letter will go up by a penny at the start of the new year. The new rate for first-class letters will be 46 cents. Priority Mail rates will also increase.

Sports: Broncos bust Chargers. Down 24-0 at halftime, Peyton Manning led Denver on a wild ride of a comeback, scoring five unanswered touchdowns in the second half to win 35-24 on Monday Night Football. Manning threw three touchdown passes, and the Broncos scored off two San Diego turnovers, including a pick-six by Chris Harris… Baltimore’s Ray Lewis is out for the rest of the season with an arm injury, and at age 37, he may be done for good. The Ravens linebacker leads the team in tackles this year… Baseball: The Giants scored four runs in the fourth inning as they walked over the Cardinals 701, tying the National League Championship Series at a game apiece.
