Swaders Cancer Terminators pose for a photo at Relay for Life on May 2. Alex Swader, a second-grader at Mt. Olive Elementary School, is shown on the front row in a purple survivors’ T-shirt. Swader was diagnosed earlier this year with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Swader was the honorary chairman for this year’s Relay for Life. Alex’s teacher Renee Houston is behind him. His mother Michele Swader is on the back row, third from the right. She said the team raised more than $5,000 for Relay.
