The longest amount of “me time” that most moms get is while bathing. I was thinking this over the other day.

There’s no such thing as ‘mommy time’ in my house
Then it started, a banging on the door. The bang was from the bottom of the door, so it had to be a small crumb snatcher — maybe Anna, the 10-month-old.
It seems like the last couple of days have only been good for you if you’re a duck. There seems to be no end to rain, so we might as well embrace it.

Zoo trip with daughter better than I could have hoped
The wonderful weather has given way to many outdoor events. It is perfect weather to get out and get something done. Last week, I finally got something done that I wanted to do for two years — take my oldest daughter to the zoo.

Former Beatle actually waved at me
When the show was over, McCartney’s bus emerged from under the stage. I was on the phone at the time and Lensey started hitting me in the arm saying, “It’s him, it’s him!”
Never forget about the lives you touch every day
We don’t know when our time on earth will come to an end. But be assured that when that time comes, people will be gathered at a church or funeral home and will talk about you.
The smell of fresh crayons and pencils; the new white shoes everyone is wearing; the excitement that is in the air.
Some kids even look forward to the start of a new school year because then they finally get to wear that new outfit they bought a month ago for school.
