Mixture provides get up and go to transplants
Warrior, Hayden and Corner News by Evangeline Sloan

Garden Tip: This is a great recipe for you to use as you plant or transplant iris, daylily or any perennial plants. Mix 1 cup epsom salt, 3 cups of bone meal and a half-teaspoon of baby powder in a container. Add 1 teaspoon per plant. This gives the plant a growing boost.
• Happy birthday to: Eloise Sloan, Candace Blackmon and Donna Washington on July 5; Julius Mayfield, Jordan Blackmon, Joyce Cole, Terri Alcorn and Irene Daniel on July 7; Gwen Bruckel on July 9; Homer Blackmon on July 10; and Dee Sloan on July 11. I hope all of you have a great year.
• Sympathy and prayers are for the family of Pauline Crittenden. She went to be with the Lord on June 29 on her son’s birthday. Her children Jackie, Dianna and Carol need your prayers. May God be with this family as they deal with their loss. Pauline will be missed greatly.
• I hope all our readers have a safe and great July Fourth. Our country still needs everyone praying for God’s understanding with all the problems we face.
