Trafford church to host program Sunday

Trafford First Baptist Church will be having One Holy Night on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Everyone is invited. If you have never been to one of these, you have really missed something special; don’t miss this one.

• Happy birthday to my husband, Wayne Doyle, on Dec.12. I hope you have the best birthday ever. Happy birthday to: Sherry White, Hunter Hays, Mandy Hays, Dennis Marsh and Stone Marsh on Dec. 12. Happy birthday on Dec. 13 to Halie Hobgood and Country Boy Eddy.

• Happy belated anniversary to Bill and Cindy Dickinson on Thanksgiving Day. They have been married for 40 years.

• Trafford’s annual Christmas parade will be on Dec. 13. If you are interested in being in the parade, be at the park by noon. The parade will start at 1 p.m. It will feature fire trucks, the Shriners and of course, Santa. Trafford’s Beautification Board will be selling plates. There will be turnip greens, butterbeans and cornbread. If that is not your thing, there will be hot dogs. Come out and enjoy a wonderful parade and get you something good to eat. Oh, and don't forget to go and talk to Santa. Have a terriffic week and if you have any news, please let me know. War Eagle!
