Now is the time to get flowers ready for indoors

Garden tip: It is almost time to have all your potted flowers inside. Wash them down with soapy water, let dry, move them to a porch or a closed in area, then carry them inside. Always keep something under them for a couple of weeks to catch all the leaves that fall, then place them where they will stay all winter.

• Pray for Junior Mayfield, Shirley Eubanks, Burlie Mae Mayfield, Essie Mae Lowe, LaVern James, Emma and Elizabeth and all that are sick.

• Happy birthday greetings to: Daniel Kilgore on Oct. 3; Basil Sloan on Oct. 6; LaVern James and Robby Speigle on Oct. 12. Hope all have a great year.

• If you have pictures of your graduation, we need for you to get in touch with Ray Trotter at 647-3743. The pictures that hung in the hall were removed years ago. The alumni club is replacing and restoring the pictures to place in the hall of Warrior School. We are looking for the years: 1939, 1942, 1949, 1951, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1970 through 1978 and 1980 through 1992. If you have a copy of your annual and picture of the graduating class of these years, feel free to call me also.

• Sympathy and prayers are needed for the families of Rita Chappel and Ray Nethery. Both families need your special prayers.
