The Burkett Center, a Jefferson County School, will hold its annual golf tournament on Nov. 14 at Lime-stone Golf Course. This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year and everyone’s help is needed. We need help with the following: golf teams, door prizes, items for goody bags, signs, etc. Proceeds are used to purchase therapeutic equipment, classroom supplies and instructional materials for the multi-handicapped students at our school. There will be a four man scramble with shotgun start at 8 a.m. Cost for registration is $85 per golfer or $320 per team. Buffet lunch will be provided and there will be a car giveaway for a hole-in-one. For more info, you can contact Marie King at 617-7594. Please help support this event!
