Community worship service held Sunday

• A community worship service for the Dizzy Dean World Series weekend will take place tomorrow at 7:15 a.m. at the amphitheater at the Gardendale Civic Center, sponsored by the greater Gardendale Ministerial Association. There will be a testimony by Doug Kovash, the assistant baseball coach for the U.A.B. Blazers.

• Jessica McCarty celebrates her birthday on July 17. Happy birthday Jessica.
