Pass along extra daylilies

Garden tip: This is a great time to divide daylilies if you have more than you can use in your garden. Pass these plants to a neighbor or a garden friend. Even though we are having rain, you have to water these plants as you reset them or they will have air pockets in the ground. This is not good because the roots will dry out and the plant will have a hard time surviving.

Landrum on July 15; Krishna Mikell Barber on July 19; Justin Allen Reynolds on July 20; Tina Green Clements on July 22; Dude Salyers and Debbie Baiely on July 24; Cydney Lynn Smith on July 25; and to Randy Pennell on July 27. I hope each of you has a great year.

• Stewarts Chapel will have a singing on July 20 with The King’s Messengers.

• Pray for Emily McBrayer, Jerome Bradford, Linda Busby, Jeff Purcell, Orine Jones, Phillip Sloan, Dee Sloan, Burlie James, Essie Mae Lowe, LeVern James, Eskrine James and all that are sick.

• We need to pray for our troops that are in harms’ way and for the election that will be coming up.
