Pet a cow, fly a plane today

Today is Cow Appreciation Day and Aviation Day. Orville Wright was born on this day in 1871.

• The homecoming and camp meeting is almost here at Warrior "I" Church of God. It starts on July 27 and goes through Aug. 2 (Morning service only on Aug. 2). For more information, you may call Bro. Roy at 647-4714.

• Happy birthday to my wonderful sister, Kathleen Glover, on July 21. I hope it is as wonderful as you are.

• Happy birthday on July 21 to Kellie Wolford and David Florence.

• Happy birthday to some special people: Jarrod White on July 23; and Brandy Rogers, Linda Walker and Dude Salyers on July 24.
