Support the FHS color guard at July 8 fund-raiser

I hope you all had a wonderful forth. I apologize for missing last week; we were on vacation.

• I would like to wish my niece, Miss Bailey Grace Powell, a happy birthday today. I hope you have the best birthday ever.

• There will be a FHS color guard fund-raiser on July 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jim ‘N’ Nick’s in Gardendale. Please show your support to the FHS color guard by giving your receipt to them on your way out the door.

• The CareNet Community Lunch is next Sunday on July 13 at Fultondale United Methodist Church, following Sunday services. The menu is: chicken casserole, sweet corn, green beans, bread, peach cobbler, coffee and tea. Adult plates are $6, children 4-12 are $4 and 3 and under are free. Please call Jim Branum at 587-8838 for more information.

• Please remember the CareNet yard sale July 11-12 at Fultondale United Methodist Church. Ms. Davis called to let me know they have some beautiful tropical and potted plants that will be for sale. Please contact Jim Branum at 587-8838 for more information about the yard sale or where you can drop off your donation. This is a wonderful ministry that is very near and dear to my heart. You have no idea at the lives you could be affecting by making a small donation.
