Judy Woodward Bates, known as the “Bargainomics Lady,” was the guest speaker Oct. 17 at the Gardendale Area Rotary Club weekly meeting. Bates gave the crowd five ways to keep moving forward: Realize the power of a dream; set measurable goals; know your mission or purpose; choose to build character; and demonstrate genuine leadership. Bates has written a book, “Bargainomics: money Management by the Book,” which is available in all 50 states.
